Solar Irradiance and Temperature Meter with Tilt Sensor

The FLIR PV78 is purpose-built for solar site surveys, panel installations, and ongoing maintenance of photovoltaic (PV) systems. It delivers instant irradiance measurements (W/m²) to meet IEC 62446-1 Electrical Safety standards for PV installations. Measure panel temperature by placing the meter directly on the surface or use an external probe for continuous monitoring.

Additional features include an integrated compass to determine panel orientation and a tilt sensor to confirm roof or panel inclination. With Bluetooth® FLIR METERLiNK® technology, the PV78 connects wirelessly to the METERLiNK app, making it easy to document, report, and share data directly from the field.
