See developing faults before they become failures
-
CAPTURE LOW- AND HIGH-FREQUENCY EVENTS
Dual-axis MEMS sensing on X and Y combines with a piezoelectric Z axis, providing coverage from slow-running machine behaviour through higher-frequency bearing and lubrication fault signatures.
-
RETAIN HIGH-RESOLUTION WAVEFORMS
The piezoelectric channel supports waveform lengths up to 256K and spectra up to 102,400 lines, giving diagnostic teams the detail needed for deeper vibration analysis.
-
SCREEN AT THE EDGE
More than 50 RONDS edge indicators cover conditions such as lubrication, bearing energy and misalignment, helping identify developing anomalies before central analysis.
-
SELECT THE RIGHT MEASUREMENT SET
For installations that also require rotational-speed measurement and speed-linked diagnosis, choose the RW606M.
-
DEPLOY IN DEMANDING PLANTS
A replaceable 19 Ah battery and rugged IP68 enclosure support long-term monitoring in industrial environments. ATEX and IECEx configurations are available as options and must be specified for the installation.
Compare RW606 and RW606M
The two models share the same core vibration-monitoring platform. Select the RW606M where rotational speed must be captured by the sensor.
| Model | Measurements | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| RW606 | Tri-axial vibration and temperature | Permanent wireless monitoring where machine speed is available elsewhere or not required |
| RW606M | Tri-axial vibration, temperature and rotational speed | Applications requiring speed-linked diagnosis and operating-state context |
Designed for critical rotating equipment
The RW606 is positioned for high-consequence assets where broad frequency coverage and detailed waveform capture matter: motors, pumps, fans, gearboxes, compressors and similar rotating machinery across mining, energy, utilities, manufacturing, oil and gas, and infrastructure operations. GoThermal can help define sensor positions, wireless architecture, hazardous-area requirements and the wider RONDS vibration-monitoring system for sites across Africa.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the RW606 and RW606M?
Both models measure tri-axial vibration and temperature. The RW606M adds rotational-speed measurement for speed-linked diagnosis and operating-state context. Compare with the RW606M.
Can it monitor both slow- and high-speed machinery?
Its combined MEMS and piezoelectric architecture covers a broad frequency range. Final suitability depends on machine speed, fault frequencies, mounting position and the required diagnostic outcome; GoThermal will confirm the sensing plan for the application.
Is it suitable for hazardous areas?
ATEX and IECEx configurations are available as options. The required certification, zone, gas or dust group and temperature class must be confirmed before selection and installation.
Does the sensor work on its own?
It is designed as part of a RONDS wireless vibration-monitoring architecture. The required data collector, communications and software configuration depend on the site and monitoring scope.
Can GoThermal support multi-site deployments in Africa?
Yes. GoThermal is the RONDS distributor and can assist with application review, sensor placement, wireless architecture, system specification and deployment planning across Africa.
