GUIDE TN650LS HANDHELD THERMAL IMAGING BINOCULARS

Long-Range Clarity. Precision in Every Detail.

Experience high-performance thermal observation with the Guide TN650LS. Built around a high-sensitivity 640 × 512 @ 12 μm infrared detector, 15 mK thermal sensitivity and Guide’s complete ApexVision S1 imaging architecture, it delivers detailed thermal imagery in complete darkness and low-contrast environments.

Its 50 mm F1.0 objective lens provides a detection range of up to 2,600 metres, while magnification from 3.9× to 31.2×allows users to examine distant heat signatures in greater detail. The integrated 1,500-metre laser rangefinder supports accurate distance measurement during long-range observation and professional field operations.

The TN650LS features a slim binocular-style housing, multifunction rotary controls and one-handed focusing for comfortable, intuitive operation. A 0.49-inch 1920 × 1080 AMOLED display, 64 GB of internal storage, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, audio-enabled recording and IP67 protection complete this advanced thermal observation system.

Its dual-battery design combines a built-in rechargeable battery with a replaceable 18650 battery, providing up to seven hours of operation. The built-in battery supports 18 W fast charging, while the external battery can be hot-swapped during use to extend operating time in the field.

Guide TN650LS Full HD AMOLED display with Hyper-Light image processing

APEXVISION CLARITY AT LONG RANGE

The TN650LS uses Guide’s complete ApexVision S1 system architecture, combining the ApexCore S1 detector, Nexus 1.0 processing platform and Hyper-Light 2.0 imaging algorithm.

Together with its high-sensitivity 640 × 512 @ 12 μm detector and 15 mK NETD, the system helps reveal subtle temperature differences and improve target definition in low-contrast environments.

A smooth 50 Hz frame rate keeps moving targets clear, while the high-resolution thermal detector preserves greater detail when observing at longer distances or using digital magnification.

LONG-RANGE DETECTION AND PRECISE RANGING

The TN650LS is designed for confident long-range thermal observation. Its 50 mm F1.0 lens provides detection at up to 2,600 metres, with a field of view of 8.2° × 4.9° and magnification ranging from 3.9× to 31.2×.

The integrated laser rangefinder measures distances at up to 1,500 metres, helping users assess how far away a detected subject is. Guide also includes a digital compass and gyroscope, while the official TN 2.0 product page identifies GPS as part of the platform’s positioning capabilities.

Guide TN650LS one-handed focusing controls and customisable buttons

ONE-HANDED FOCUSING AND INTUITIVE CONTROL

The TN650LS features multifunction rotary controls and customisable buttons designed to simplify operation in the field. Users can scroll through menu functions and click to confirm selections without moving their hands away from the natural binocular grip.

Manual focusing allows the image to be adjusted for different observation distances, while the streamlined button layout supports quiet and efficient operation.

The eyepiece system includes 20 mm eye relief, dioptre adjustment from −6 to +6 and interpupillary distance adjustment from 58 to 72 mm, allowing the binoculars to be configured for different users.

FLEXIBLE POWER FOR EXTENDED OPERATION

The TN650LS combines a customised built-in rechargeable battery with one replaceable external 18650 battery, providing up to seven hours of operating time.

The built-in battery supports 18 W fast charging and can reach approximately 80% charge in one hour. The external 18650 battery supports hot-swapping during operation, allowing a depleted battery to be replaced without shutting down the binoculars.

This flexible power system helps reduce downtime during security observation, search and rescue operations and extended field use.

Guide TN650LS slim lightweight thermal binocular design

SLIMMER, LIGHTER AND EASIER TO HANDLE

The TN 2.0 Series features a slimmer housing inspired by traditional binocular design, providing a familiar grip and balanced handling.

The TN650LS weighs 720 g, making it easier to carry and hold during longer observation sessions. Its symmetrical body, adjustable interpupillary distance and intuitive controls help provide comfortable use for a wide range of operators.

Despite its streamlined design, the device retains an IP67 protection rating, helping protect it against dust, rain and demanding outdoor conditions.

FULL HD AMOLED VIEWING

The TN650LS features a 0.49-inch AMOLED display with a 1920 × 1080 resolution, providing a clear and detailed view of thermal imagery.

Seven thermal colour palettes allow users to adapt the display to the subject and surrounding conditions:

White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Green Hot, Iron Red, Blue Hot and Sepia.

Guide’s Hyper-Light 2.0 image-processing algorithm further supports improved contrast, image clarity and fine target detail.
