FLIR K95 Wide-Angle Firefighting Thermal Imaging Camera

The K95 combines a 640 × 480 thermal detector with an exceptionally wide 95° × 74° field of view, allowing firefighters to see significantly more of a room or fireground scene without constantly moving the camera.

The wider perspective makes it easier to identify doors, victims, obstacles, floor openings, structural features and developing heat conditions while navigating smoke-obscured environments.

With more information visible at once, firefighters can build situational awareness faster and make better-informed decisions during critical operations.

Fireground temperatures can change rapidly. The K95 covers object temperatures from -20°C to 650°C in a single range, providing a continuous thermal view without disruptive range switching, avoiding the image interruption that can occur when conventional thermal cameras switch between temperature ranges.

This provides firefighters with a consistent thermal picture while moving between cooler areas and extreme heat.

FLIR's Flexible Scene Enhancement (FSX®) further improves image detail and definition, helping structural features and important scene information remain easier to interpret in challenging conditions.

The K95 is engineered for demanding frontline firefighting environments.

Its rugged IP67-rated housing is designed to withstand water, dust and harsh operating conditions, while the camera is drop-tested from 2 metres onto concrete.

It can operate at temperatures of 150°C for up to 15 minutes and 260°C for up to 5 minutes, helping ensure reliable performance when crews are working in extreme fireground conditions.

A large 4-inch, 640 × 480 backlit LCD display provides a clear thermal view while a simplified user interface keeps interaction to a minimum so firefighters can concentrate on the scene rather than camera settings.
